Early Beginnings
The first Masonic activities in Cambridge began in the mid-1800s as the town grew as an important port on the Chesapeake Bay. Local merchants and civic leaders sought to establish a lodge to serve the growing community.
Charter Granted
Cambridge Masonic Lodge #66 received its charter from the Grand Lodge of Maryland, officially establishing our lodge as a permanent institution in the Cambridge community.
Lodge Building Construction
The current Masonic Temple was constructed during the prosperous 1920s, featuring beautiful architecture and ceremonial rooms that continue to serve the lodge today.
World War II Era
During World War II, many lodge members served their country with honor. The lodge supported the war effort and maintained the home front, keeping the fraternal bonds strong.
Continuing Tradition
Today, Cambridge Lodge #66 continues its proud tradition of fellowship, community service, and Masonic education. We honor our past while embracing the future, welcoming new members and serving our community.
